Taste
The clementine is a spherical and very juicy fruit, which has a less acidic taste than the orange and is also sweeter than the mandarin.

Origin
The clementine was created by the French priest Père Cément around the 1900s to create a new variety of mandarin with fewer seeds.

Season
The clementine is typically imported into Denmark between November and March.

Good for
With its sweet taste, the clementine is great eaten fresh. It can also be used in salads and desserts, and can be made into jam.
