Taste
Kiwi is a fruit the size of a hen's egg. The skin is brown and hairy, while the flesh has a nice green colour and a tangy, fresh taste.

Origin
Originally from China, where it has been cultivated for more than 1200 years, today Italy and New Zealand are among the main producers.

Season
In Denmark we import kiwi all year round.

Good for
Kiwi can be eaten fresh and is also good in desserts, jams and chutney.
