Taste
Blackberry is a blue-black berry that is extremely juicy and very aromatic in taste.
Botanically, blackberry is not a berry but a multiple fruit.
Origin
Blackberry grows wild in Denmark but is also wild in Europe and North America.
Season
Blackberries are in season from August to October, but you may be lucky to find ripe blackberries as early as July.
Good for
Try blackberries in cake, as a topping or try them pickled for hot dishes.
