ECOLOGY
OUR CERTIFICATIONS
At Skælskør Frugtplantage® we grow pure, natural flavours with great care for nature. Several of our products are also labelled with either the Danish or the European organic label.
The red Ø mark
The Ø label is the Danish organic label, which means that the product has been produced under organic conditions and controlled by the Danish authorities. When you buy products from Skælskør Frugtplantage® that carry the Danish organic label, it is your guarantee that the product has been produced using processes that respect the environment, biodiversity and nature.
The EU organic label
The European Organic Label is your guarantee that a given product is organic and produced in accordance with the guidelines of the EU Organic Regulation. When you buy products from Skælskør Frugtplantage® that carry the European organic label, it is your proof that the product meets the official control requirements and that 95% of the ingredients used in the product are of organic agricultural origin.
SUPPLIER
SUPPLIER TO THE ROYAL DANISH COURT
At Skælskør Frugtplantage® we have a strong passion for creating jam and fruit porridge of the highest quality. We build on a long history where quality and craftsmanship are deeply rooted in the way we operate. We are therefore also proud that we have been a supplier to the Royal Danish Court since 1960 - a title that is binding. The title, which is also called a predicate, is awarded for a period of 5 years at a time, and at the end of the period it is assessed whether the conditions for the award continue to be met.
In 2008, the title was simplified to "Royal Court Supplier", but to celebrate our history, we, together with 13 other Danish companies, have chosen to keep the classic title of "Supplier to the Royal Danish Court". A total of 102 Danish and 5 foreign companies have been awarded the title to date.
