Risalamande trifle

Ingredients

  • Almond crust:
  • 200 g cane sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g almonds, ground into coarse almond meal
  • 10 g butter
  • Ris á la mande:
  • 2 dl whipping cream
  • approx. 300 g rice pudding
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • Grain from 1 vanilla pod
  • Garnish:
  • 300 g Skælskør Frugtplantage® Cherry Sauce
  • Possibly. Slivered almonds

Preparation

1. Beat the cane sugar and egg well together and fold in the blended almonds.

2. Spread the dough in a greased springform pan (ø24 cm) and bake the bottom for about 30-35 minutes at 170 degrees convection oven.

3. Allow the base to cool completely, then break into smaller pieces.

4. Whip the cream and stir in the rice pudding.

5. Mix the vanilla pod with sugar and season with rice à la man.

6. Arrange the trifles in layers with small pieces of almond crust, ris à la mande and cherry sauce.

7. Garnish with almond slivers if desired.
