Swirls with sea buckthorn-apple jam

Ingredients

Preparation

1. Stir the yeast into the milk and add the eggs, cardamom, sugar, salt and half of the flour.

2. Mix the dough well.

3. Add the butter and the rest of the flour to the dough and mix the dough for 10 minutes on a mixer until it reaches a soft and smooth consistency.

4. Leave the dough to rise in a bowl with a clean tea towel over it for 2 hours.

5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the jam on top.

6. Fold one third of the dough over and then the other third, so that the dough is in 3 layers.

7. Roll the dough back out into a rectangle and cut into 12 equal strips and twist these into twists.

8. Place all the twists on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let them rise for about 40 minutes.

9. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for approx. 15-18 minutes.

10. Allow to cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.
