Ingredients
- 50 g yeast
- 1 dl milk
- 2 tbsp. cane sugar
- 2 eggs
- 150 g soft butter
- 275 g wheat flour

1 package Skælskør Frugtplantage® prune porridge
- Eggs for brushing
- Pearl sugar
Preparation
1. Stir the yeast into the milk.
2. Add the cane sugar, eggs, butter and flour.
3. Knead the dough well and leave to rise for about 1 hour.
4. Roll out the dough into two squares on a floured board (approx. 25×30 cm).
5. Transfer the dough to two pieces of baking paper.
6. Place a strip of prune porridge in the middle of each dough. Cut strips on each side of the prune porridge and carefully fold them over each other.
7. Let the pretzels rise covered for about 45 minutes.
8. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with pearl sugar.
9. Bake the pretzels for about 15 minutes at 200 degrees convection oven.
10. Serve the pretzel rings warm.
TIP: The yeast dough can easily be prepared the day before and put in the fridge overnight. In this case, only 25 g of yeast should be used.
