Vanilla muffins with raspberry jam

Ingredients

  • Muffins:
  • 200 g cane sugar
  • 125 g soft butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 2 dl milk
  • Decorations
  • 1 jar Raspberry jam from Skælskør Frugtplantage®

Preparation

1. Beat the cane sugar with the soft butter.

2. Add the eggs one at a time, beating the dough well as you go.

3. Add the baking powder, vanilla sugar and wheat flour and mix the dough.

4. Stir the milk into the dough and stir until the dough is smooth.

5. Pour the batter into muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes at 175°C.

6. Garnish the cooled muffins with raspberry jam.
