Ingredients

  • Butter dough:
  • 100 g butter
  • 125 g wheat flour
  • 50 g icing sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • if necessary, a little water
  • Filling:
  • 200 g Skælskør Frugtplantage® Allie jam
  • Macaroon topping:
  • 4 egg whites
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g grated marzipan
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • Almond slivers

Preparation

1. Crumble the butter into the flour and add the icing sugar and vanilla sugar.

2. Mix the dough with the egg yolk and a little water if necessary.

3. Put the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

4. Roll out the dough into a square and put it in a baking pan with baking paper.

5. Spread the jam evenly over the base.

6. For the macaroon mixture, whip the egg whites until stiff, then add the sugar little by little to form a stiff meringue.

7. Fold in the grated marzipan and spread the macaroon mixture over the jam.

8. Sprinkle with sugar and some almond slivers.

9. Bake the cake at 170 degrees for about 30 minutes.

10. When the cake has cooled, cut it into diagonal slices.
