Ingredients

Preparation

1. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees convection.

2. Mix the wheat flour, rye flour, baking powder, sugar and caraway seeds in a bowl.

3. Crumble the soft butter into the dough.

4. Gradually add the milk and bring the dough together without kneading. You may not need all the milk - maybe less, maybe a little more. The milk is used to bring the dough together, which should be homogeneous without being sticky.

5. Turn the dough out onto a floured board and roll it out to a thickness of 3-4 mm. Use a cookie cutter or a glass (about 6-7 cm in diameter) to cut out the biscuits.

6. Roll out the dough again and continue until all the dough is used.

7. Transfer the biscuits to a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake the biscuits for about 12-14 minutes until golden.

8. Leave to cool on a baking tray.

9. Serve the biscuits with jam and cheese.
