Cold rolls with oats and orange marmalade

  • 45 minutes (1-2 days in the fridge)
  • 4 persons



1. Dissolve yeast in cold water and add salt and cane sugar.

2. Stir in the oatmeal and flaxseed, then the durum flour.

3. Then stir in most of the wheat flour, saving a little and adding as you mix the dough together. The dough should not be kneaded, and it is quite sticky but cohesive when you stir it.

4. Cover the bowl with a lid or plate and refrigerate for 1-2 days.

5. Remove the bowl from the oven about 10 minutes before you want to use it.

6. Put the dough on a baking tray with two spoons, there will be 12- 15 buns.

7. Turn on the oven to 225 degrees and let the buns rise while the oven heats up.

8. Put the buns in the oven when it is hot and bake them for 15-20 minutes until they are crispy.

9. Serve the buns with orange marmalade.
