Our Agave powder is a very versatile ingredient in the food and beverage industry.
From the organic agave grown in Mexico, the juice of the agave is extracted, filtered, heated and concentrated into a syrup with a light consistency, which is then dehydrated into powder. Agave syrup has a very low glycemic index compared to other natural sweeteners. The glycemic index of 21 means that the effect on blood sugar levels after consumption is minimal compared to glucose, whose glycemic index is 100.
