The strawberry jam from Skælskør Frugtplantage® gives a wonderful mood of summer with its mild and round taste of sun-ripened strawberries. The jam is particularly suitable for breakfast bread or on a slice of toasted rye bread. The sweet jam also tastes great in baked goods and desserts or directly on top of skyr.

Origin
Originally, the strawberry grew wild in the European countryside, while in the 16th century people began to cultivate the wild berry.
Season
At home, strawberries are in season from June to August, but they are imported from abroad all year round.
Good for
