There are a multitude of wonderful strawberry varieties. The most classic are the red berries, which can be sweet, mild and very aromatic in flavour.
Origin
Originally, the strawberry grew wild in the European countryside, while in the 16th century people began to cultivate the wild berry.
Season
At home, strawberries are in season from June to August, but they are imported from abroad all year round.
Good for
