The prune cream from Skælskør Frugtplantage® is a refreshing addition to breakfast, or an easy and tasty alternative to desserts. The porridge is prepared without preservatives and is ready to use straight from the pack, making it incredibly easy and useful in many dishes. The prune porridge has a wonderfully mild taste of sweet prunes, which is ideal for a wide range of desserts. Try it as a filling in carnival buns, eat it straight with cream - or serve it as an accompaniment to the cheese board.

Prunes are produced in California, Italy and France. Californian prunes are of the Agen variety, which originated in Asia, while in southern Europe the Italian prune variety is used.

As prunes are a dried fruit that can be preserved for longer periods, they are available throughout the year.
