The new blackcurrant jam with 30% less sugar from Skælskør Frugtplantage® has a fresh and slightly tart taste. The jam is Danish produced, without added sweeteners and is a healthier alternative to the variants with sugar, while not compromising on the taste of blackcurrants. So you get a jam that can be enjoyed with a clear conscience. The jam is particularly suitable for putting on top of cheese or in a delicious cake or other pastry.

Blackcurrant
Taste
Blackcurrant is a small, black berry that grows on bushes and has a strong, aromatic flavour. It grows to about 10 mm in diameter and is related to currants.
Origin
Blackcurrant bushes grow wild in Central and Northern Europe, and were first cultivated here in the 17th century.
Season
In Denmark, blackcurrants are in season from June to August, but they are imported from abroad all year round.
Good for
